Light Kit for LEGO Tropical Ukulele

The 387-piece LEGO Tropical Ukulele 31156, launched in January 2024, pairs a buildable instrument with oversized tropical flowers.

About the Tropical Ukulele

The ukulele pairs oversized flowers with a musical silhouette, and the kit balances the glow so both the instrument and the blooms stay readable.

The light is split between the two oversized flowers and the strings, so the instrument silhouette and its botanical frame stay equally readable from a shelf.

The beauty of the Tropical Ukulele is in its curves and negative space, and the light is placed to define both after dark.

Because the LEDs run on low voltage, the build stays safe to handle even after hours of continuous light.

The glow on the Tropical Ukulele was chosen to match the set's own palette, which keeps the colors honest after dark.

For a Tropical Ukulele that already took hours to build, the kit is a small evening that returns that effort every time the lights go down.

The entire work is very experiential, whether it's for your own decoration or as a gift for friends who love music, both are excellent.
