Light Kit for Holiday Express Train 10361 Ver.2

A Golden Glow for the Evening Run

This second version of the 10361 Holiday Express Train focuses on the atmosphere rather than the motion, giving the engine and its cars a warm, golden light that reads like a train returning home at dusk. It is the display-focused take on the set, built for the builder who keeps the train parked on a mantel or a shelf and wants it to glow the way a real evening train does. The palette is warmer and softer than a standard white strip, and that golden glow is the entire point.

The kit lights the engine, the tender, and the flatcar in a single cohesive warmth, so the train reads as one continuous line of light rather than a set of separate cars. It is a quieter, more atmospheric piece than the running version, and it is meant to be admired while the room is dim.

The "Holiday Express Train" is not only an iconic scene of the Christmas season but also symbolizes the warmth of reunion and the giving of blessings. This brightly lit train traveling through the winter night has become a quintessential representation of the festive atmosphere for many.

The LEGO 10361 Holiday Express Train set vividly recreates a vintage-style steam locomotive and carriages adorned with holiday decorations. The dark blue and gold locomotive features the printed "Holiday Express" logo, and its chimney can simulate a steam effect. The carriages include a baggage car decorated with holly and string lights, a gift wagon tied with a large red bow, and an open observation carriage with a snowman passenger. The set also comes with tracks, a platform, benches, and a streetlamp, all together building a complete festive scene.

The?ZENE Bricks lighting kit brings the scene to life. White lights on the locomotive's headlight and chimney simulate the headlamp and steam effect; the windows, string lights, and holly wreaths on each carriage are all illuminated; the streetlamp on the platform is also activated, casting a warm circle of light. This precisely creates the dreamy atmosphere of the train moving slowly, fully lit, on a winter's night.

The lighting kit captures a moment on Christmas Eve¡ªthe train carrying gifts and blessings through the quiet winter night¡ªallowing warm festive memories to linger long within the play of light and shadow.
