How to choose the differential version:
ZENE Bricks differentials are generally of two types: Square, suitable for 1:8 scale cars, such as the flagship models 42143 and 42232; and H-type, suitable for 1:10 scale cars, such as 42096 and 42156, as well as F1 cars.
Both types are available in dual-input and single-input versions. Dual-input is mainly suitable for cars with engine linkage. If the engine is removed, you can consider single-input only.
There are two types of outputs: male connectors are used to connect to universal joints, allowing the differential and wheels to be on different planes; and cross-head connectors can directly connect to the output shaft, generally used for outputs on the same plane, but this depends on your design.

Precision is the whole point of the metal accessory upgrade: tight tolerances mean less play, smoother rotation, and less wasted motor effort. The metal accessory upgrade is built around standard Technic dimensions, so it slots into the drivetrain without forcing the rest of the build. Good running gear is measured by feel, and the metal accessory upgrade is designed to rotate cleanly and quietly from the first session.
The metal accessory upgrade is engineered for the demands of a powered conversion, where a stock part can flex or wear under load. Durability shapes the design of the metal accessory upgrade as much as precision, because a running model punishes any part that is not up to the job. The metal accessory upgrade also simplifies installation, because a part that seats cleanly without filing or shimming saves real time at the bench.
What makes the metal accessory upgrade stand out is repeatability, the ability to fit the same way every time and hold its performance. The metal accessory upgrade earns its place by disappearing into the build, working so smoothly that you stop noticing it is there. Heat and friction are the enemies of a drivetrain, and the metal accessory upgrade is made to keep both under control in hard running.

The difference the metal accessory upgrade makes is easiest to feel in motion, where a precise part translates into cleaner starts and quieter running.

Heat and friction are the enemies of a drivetrain, and the metal accessory upgrade is made to keep both under control in hard running. The metal accessory upgrade is one of those upgrades that quietly transforms a motorized build, because every bit of power has to pass through it.

The metal accessory upgrade is a long-term investment in the model, keeping the drivetrain consistent long after the first few sessions. Precision is the whole point of the metal accessory upgrade: tight tolerances mean less play, smoother rotation, and less wasted motor effort.
The metal accessory upgrade is sized for common Technic drivetrains, which makes it a straightforward match for the chassis it was designed around.
The metal accessory upgrade carries power more efficiently because its precise fit wastes less effort, which shows up as quieter, cleaner motion.
Clean, dry storage and a short inspection after use are all the metal accessory upgrade needs to stay accurate and quiet.
Tighten the fasteners gradually and check that the metal accessory upgrade still spins freely, because snug without friction is the goal. Wipe the metal accessory upgrade down after dusty sessions and keep it dry, because clean surfaces stay accurate far longer. Balance matters more than force, and the metal accessory upgrade works best when it is matched to the motor and weight of the build. Keep the metal accessory upgrade free of grit and fibers, which can wrap around moving parts and add friction.
Give the metal accessory upgrade a gentle first run so the surfaces can seat evenly before you ask for full performance. If the metal accessory upgrade feels noisy or runs warm in one spot, stop and inspect the alignment before continuing. Check the metal accessory upgrade against your motor and gearing, because a matched setup stays cool and efficient. A short inspection before each session lets the metal accessory upgrade do its job quietly, and it takes less than a minute.
After the first session, recheck the metal accessory upgrade for looseness, since new parts settle as they bed in. A well-fitted metal accessory upgrade should feel invisible in use: even resistance, no wobble, and a model that tracks straight. If the model feels sluggish, look at the whole drivetrain around the metal accessory upgrade, since alignment and gearing work together. Before final assembly, dry-fit the metal accessory upgrade and confirm the axle width, spacing, and clearance match your chassis.
